From the earliest days of trade across the ancient empires, to the first modern use of the name chambre de commerce at Paris in the year 1601, Chambers of Commerce have in one form or another, been actively publicizing, promoting, and developing commercial and industrial opportunities for the benefit of businesses around the world. Chamber of Commerce you will be able to: search hundreds of companies; receive
monthly online newsletters; access information on trade missions, Brazil and
Florida markets, foreign markets and business resources for companies thinking
on investing or relocating to Brazil and Florida.
Other Benefits: Alert Program: Sometimes companies change hands or undergo a major restructuring. This causes them to become somewhat unstable or unresponsive. We try to protect American business owners from this with our Alert Program. We notify you immediately if we start encountering any problems with any company with which you are working with. If you should encounter any problems working with a Brazilian company, simply register this information with BTCC, and we will keep track of them and immediately inform other members who may be working or thinking of working for the suspect company. BTCC Help Center: Through our Help Center, we also offer extensive assistance to anyone who owns or is starting a small business in Brazil or Florida . If you're considering being an entrepreneur in Brazil or in the U.S., the Help Center is a great resource. There are hundreds of business opportunities profiled for you to pursue. Member Communication and Electronic Access: Our Internet presence allows us to have a continuous communication feed with our members, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Via newsletters, surveys, emails, chat rooms and the main web site BTCC remains connected with ALL our members. Now we have added the Opportunity Forum, where members have the ability to leave messages for each other or, the staff and section leaders of BTCC. Our chat rooms allow members to communicate directly in real-time with staff, section leaders, management and each other during our regularly scheduled sessions. It is recognized for its buying power and enjoys the latest music, the most advanced technology, strategically located real estate, well -known hotels, exquisite restaurants, the most popular shopping centers, etc.Due to their innate nature as consumers, the Brazilian community in North America affects, interferes with and directly drives the opinions, perceptions and customs of visitors while in the United States, either as tourists on a relaxed sight-seeing vacation or as executives of renowned companies on short, professional trips in the come-and-go of big business between the two principal countries of the Americas. According to statistics released for 1998 by the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, Brazilians accounted for 30% of South American arrivals to the U.S. (515,000 visitors) with expenditures of $900 millions dollars in 1998 and $692 million in 1997.
