The event was held in
Tampa at the Samba Room Restaurant. It was a huge success. Among the guests
were Mr. José Carlos Santos, ADVM representative in
Tampa, Mr. Jean Charles Faust, Honorarium Consul of France, Doris
Carvalho the new BTCC director for International
relations among others.

BRAZILIAN EXPO IN TAMPA
Nos dias 23 a
27 de Fevereiro participamos de uma grande exposição sobre o Brasil. O evento
foi realizado em Tampa, com o patrocíonio do banco JP Morgan e o apóio cultural
da Florida Metropolitan University. Durante os cinco dias, tivemos centenas de
visitantes em nossos 2 que conheceram de perto um pouco mais da cultura e
produtos brasileiros.

TRADE MISSION TO BRAZIL
May 02 - May 06, 2004
The program originally was created in the year
2000 by the GMCC in partnership with the world's largest airline,
American Airlines, to market Florida as a business center, stimulate trade
and establish strategic alliances between Florida, Latin America and the
Caribbean. Endorsed by Governor Jeb Bush and the Florida Legislature, the
Program has since become an integral part of the Florida Services Network, a
state-funded initiative dedicated to the promotion of Florida services abroad.
The program in each city consists of two days (except for Rio de Janeiro);
participants may choose to visit one or more destinations (a minimum of five
participants per city is required for the mission to take place).
BENEFITS Included in the program
Reduced roundtrip airfare (originating from Miami).
Reduced hotel rates.
In-country briefing conducted by the U.S. Embassy or U.S. Commercial Service.
Company listing in directory (deadline: March 25, 2004).
